The following are the new introductions for 2007. These are the result of our hybridizing for the period 1990 through 1999. These plants will be available starting this year in a limited number. As with other introductions, Telmarc Gardens does hybridizing and is not a volume grower. We again this year are moving these also to our New Hampshire location which is Zone 4 where they seem to grow very aggressively.

Thank You Sue (4N)

The throat color on this reddish flower is very striking. It appears to burst forth from the center of the flower and stands out very strongly when in bloom. The flower grows very well in New Jersey.

Florham Peaches and Cream (4N)

This is a very aggressive growing flower with a beautiful pink color. It reproduces very well and can be used as a very attractive border flower. It is especially attractive with its many flowers and grows in tightly packed clumps. We have been dividing aggressively and they seem to have responded very well to the dividing.

Florham Red Lantern (4N)

A dainty purple red slightly recurved flower with a white rib down the middle of the petals. Slight ruffling on the petals as well. The color is a strong color which holds up during hot bright summer days.

Doctor Jon's Humor (2N)

This is a deep red bold flower with a small gold throat. It is a strong grower and has a strong accent on the other flowers in the garden.

Doctor Jim (4N)

A dusty red with a deep red eyezone and gold throat. The eyezone is quite distinctive and makes the flower stand out. The petals and sepals are somewhat recurved and there is a white rib down both the sepals and petals.

Doctor Bill's Jokes (4N)

A pinkish red with a red eyezone and gold throat. White ribbing on the petals only.

USS A. W. Grant (also DD 649) (2N)

This unique flower is named after my father's ship, the USS Albert W. Grant, DD-649, in World War II and is dedicated to the men who served on her. This is especially dedicated to the men who were lost in the Battle of Surigao Strait in which the ship was successful in sinking a Japanese Battleship on October 25, 1944 and saving many American Lives. The burst of color is a reminder of the strength of the ship and her men.

Gus' Starburst (4N)

A very strong dark red with recurved petals and sepals and strong gold throat. This is a rich red flower and is quite large and prominent.

Phantastic Phyllis (4N)

A bright red flower, almost a candy red color with recurved petals and sepals and whit ribbing on petals. The throat is gold.

Young Master Jack (2N)

This is a recurved and ruffled flower which is of fairly large size. The color is a blend of a light peach yellow with a tint of pink and red. It is a very attractive blend which stands out well in any garden.

Mister Brown (4N)

A peach red flower with strongly recurved petals and sepals with a slight red eyezone and gold throat. The petals have white ribbing.

Florham Peppermint Stick (2N)

This is a slightly ruffled flower with a clear set of red striping on a pink background. The petals have a stronger mix than the sepals. The throat is a bright green-gold. It is a very good grower and lends a color complexity to any garden.
