Details 2006

The following are the 2006 Introductions. This year we have been developing a variety of hybrids which contain many different features. Our most desirable feature is large foliage and we are trying to develop several new spiders. In the spider area we use Kindly Light as a key element of the hybridizing. The details are contained in the Detail page.

Vivacious Vivian: This is a bicolor with strong orange tint and reddish blended petals. It is a very aggressive grower with tall scapes and many buds per scape.

Scott's Red Cycle: This is a dark red heavy blooming plant with a strong gold throat. It has many buds per scape and is an aggressive grower.

Florham Lemon Zest: A very attractive yellow with a tint of red on the petals, with ruffling on the edges and slightly recurved. A good bloomer and tall.

  Terrence's Touch:

Marvelous Muriel: A spider with strong red ends of sepals and petals and bursting yellow throat. This is a powerful flower and is quite large. However is is slow growing and we may not be able to introduce it as quickly as we had anticipated.

  Brother Kevin:

Daniel's Delight: A tinted cream colored flower with hints of purple on the petals and slightly on the sepals. It is a beautiful blend of pastels and is a delight to have in the garden. It is slightly recurved and ruffled.

  Maria's Mirth:

Countessa Cecile: This is a sister to Vivacious Vivian and Countessa Cecile. It is a slow plant to propagate and we are trying again this year. It is an extroadinarily attractive flower, large, bicolor blended with a strong gold throat.

Josephine's Joy: The third of the three sister plants, a good grower bicolor, peach sepals and blended purple and peach petals.

  Florham Whisper:

Florham Sunburst: A beautiful bright yellow flower with many blooms with recurved and ruffled edges. All pure yellow including the throat.

Happy Hilda: An orange flower with a red burst from the throat. A good grower and bloomer and an attractive addition on color and texture. The petal bear the burst and the sepals are pure orange almost gold.
