H. auritaniaca is a very hardy and persistent flowerer. I have been using it to cross with some diploids to try to get the strong flowering characteristic.
The branching, limited at most, of H aurantiaca is shown below.
The flowering of H aurantiaca is shown below.
The picture below compares H aurantiaca with hakuensis, citrina and fulva. H aurantiaca, the second from the right, is the most red in color, and consistently so. H hakuensis is more chrome yellow in color.
